What to do when a teacher changes schools

Whenever a teacher who has already registered at the eTwinning platform changes schools, they do not need to register again or modify the school data in their profile. If they do this, they will be changing the data of all the teachers who registered in eTwinning for that school. What they must do is add a new school to their profile.

The steps to be followed are:

1.- Access the eTwinning Desktop.

2.- Click on modify profile and you will see all your profile information on a screen like this:

3.- The information is presented in 4 different fields: personal information, school data, your preferences and photo gallery (you will initially view your personal information). Click on school and you will see the information for the school you have registered as in eTwinning on a screen like this:

4.- To add data for your new school, click on ADD A SCHOOL. You will be starting a registration process for a new school within your already existing profile.

a.- Choose the country, region and city, and underneath you will see a list of schools that have already registered in eTwinning. Check that your new school is registered in the platform. If so, click on “This is my school” and you will see the name of your new school. This way, you will save time.

b.- If your new school does not appear in the list, click on the button “Click here to register a new school” and you will see a form like the one below, where you must insert the data for the new school as well as others to do with association preferences.

5.- Once you have completed the form, don’t forget to click “Send” 

6.- Return to the HOMEPAGE on the Desktop and you will see that the new school appears on your profile.
